A nice spanish mackeral speared in Far North Queensland in January 1999 by Brendon Collins. This fish was never weighed but like all mackeral, put up a great fight. You can see where the spear struck just below the dorsal fin. It was speared with an Open Reef Collins Speargun.

Father, Edgar "Big Eddie" Collins , and sons, Edgar and Tom, two generations of spearos with some impressive Coral Trout and a Spanish Mackeral. All these fish were speared with Medium Reef Collins Spearguns.
