An array of Trevally, Makeral and Trout taken off a steep reef shelf in Far North Queensland. Note the bodyless Blue Groper (centre left) that became lunch for a Bronze Whaler that
are a common sight in these parts. All these fish were speared with early models of the Collins Speargun range, from the small reef to the blue water.
A nice spanish mackeral speared in Far North Queensland in January 1999 by Brendon Collins. This fish was never weighed but like all mackeral, put up a great fight. You
can see where the spear struck just below the dorsal fin. It was speared with an Open Reef Collins Speargun.
