This quality hand crafted solid stainless steal front is a unique feature of the gun. It helps with balance, and is a permanent guide for the
spear. It also acts as a 'plate' to hold the rubbers in position, as close to the shaft as possible. This small addition guides the line from the front of the gun, over the
spear and under the gun, holding the spear in the track. To remove this stainless front for rubber removal or replacement, there is a phillips head screw in the top, and a 4mm allan key screw coming up from the bottom,
